There is no public transport to the site.

Key Dates

Friday 23 August Pre-Conference Tour, Registration and Welcome.
Saturday 24 August Conference Day One and Dinner.
Sunday 25 August Conference Day Two

Flying In

Sunshine Coast Airport is 15km (20 minutes) north of Mooloolaba and is served by Jetstar, Virgin, Qantas, and Bonza.

As an indication, there are currently six flights a day from Sydney and seven from Melbourne.

Brisbane Airport is 100km to the south with a drive of 75 minutes in ideal traffic conditions. Fridays and Sundays have very heavy traffic so a two-hour trip is not uncommon.

Accommodation

The main tourist area closest to the Garden comprises Maroochydore, Cotton Tree, Alexandra Headland, and Mooloolaba and offers the full spectrum of accommodation. Further south is Caloundra and to the north Coolum and Noosa.

Trip information to the Garden:
Caloundra 21km 27 minutes
Mooloolaba 14km 19 minutes
Maroochydore 16km 22 minutes
Coolum 30km 30 minutes
Noosa 50km 48 minutes
