Changes to Your Association

In the last few months the Association Committee of Management has introduced changes to the administration that we hope will strengthen the network, improve information and promotion options for members and simplify the important volunteer role undertaken by current and future representatives to the Committee.

NEW ADMINISTRATION OFFICER

Ro Noone, part time Education Officer for Friends of Geelong Botanic Gardens has contracted to undertake the Secretarial and Administrative work for the Association.   Ro’s background and experience in horticulture, education and administration sees the Association management in good hands.

NEW WEBSITE & WEB EDITOR

The Committee contracted WordsWorth Communicating to develop and manage a new website. This is an ongoing process.   We hope you approve of the new site and utilize the promotional opportunities offered. Your feedback would be appreciated.

NEW LOGO

The Campsis radicans trumpet flower logo, originally a drawing donated to the Association by outstanding botanic artist, the late Beverly Graham, has now been redesigned to include colour and the Association name - see site home page.  The logo will be added AFBG stationery and promotional items.

NEW LOOK CAMPSIS

The newsletter is now being produced and edited by Friends of Australian National Botanic Gardens Canberra member, Anne Rawson and two associates on behalf of the Association Committee who will retain final oversight and distribution to members.
